Wiper Maintenance, Clear Vision for Driving on Rainy Days
Wipers are the “vision guarantee” for driving on rainy days. Long-term use is prone to aging and wear, affecting the wiper effect and even damaging the windshield. Daily maintenance needs to be followed up in time. First, regularly check the wiper rubber strip. If you find that the rubber strip is hard, cracked, aging, or there are scratches and residual water marks when wiping, you need to replace the rubber strip or the wiper assembly in time.
During daily use, avoid dry wiping the windshield. If there is dust and debris on the windshield, you can spray glass water first, then start the wipers to prevent wear of the rubber strip. When the glass water is insufficient, supplement the special glass water in time. Do not use tap water instead. Tap water contains impurities, which can easily block the water spray pipe and wear the wiper rubber strip.
Regularly clean the debris on the wiper arm and water spray nozzle to avoid blockage and ensure uniform spraying of glass water. When parking for a long time, you can lift the wiper arm to avoid the rubber strip sticking to the windshield for a long time, especially in high temperature and sun exposure weather, which can extend the service life of the rubber strip.
